OUR MISSION

The MISSION of Are You Dense, Inc. is to educate the public about the risks and screening challenges of dense breast tissue and its impact on missed, delayed and advanced stage breast cancer to reduce advanced disease and mortality.

OUR GOALS

EDUCATE THE PUBLIC about breast health including the impact of dense breast tissue via a web site, social media, educational materials, research, resources, media, lectures and speaking engagements;
IMPROVE THE CONDITION of those diagnosed with breast cancer by educating about the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of living with the disease;
ADVOCATE CHANGES TO PUBLIC POLICY about the prevention and treatment of breast cancer including breast cancer screening guidelines; and
SUPPORT NEW AND EXISTING RESEARCH about the prevention and treatment of breast cancer and the causal and screening risks of dense breast tissue and its impact on advanced disease. Support research on metastatic disease to improve quality of life, survival outcomes and end death from breast cancer.
