Dr. Jean Weigert, Past-President of the Connecticut Radiological Society with Dr. Nancy Cappello.

Dr Weigert's published research for 4 years demonstrates a significant detection of small, early stage, node negative cancers on patients with dense breast tissue and normal mammograms using adjunct screening ultrasound.  The Positive predictive value has improved over the four years to an acceptable level equal to mammography.
