SuperSonic Imagine, the ultrasound company that pioneered breakthrough ShearWave™ Elastography technology (SWE™), and UltraFast™ Doppler, announced that women’s breast cancer activist Dr. Nancy M. Cappello, President and Founder of Are You Dense, Inc. has received the company’s 2011 Aixplorer Achievement Award. Dr. Cappello is the second recipient of the award following Sherry Lansing who received the award last year.

Michele Debain, Global Marketing Director of SuperSonic Imagine said, “We are very pleased to present the 2011 Aixplorer Achievement Award to Dr. Cappello. She has been selected for having made great progress in educating the public about the risks of breast cancer for women with dense breasts.
